There is no team in the NFL that made more noise this offseason than the Denver Broncos. The end of last year saw the Broncos win their first playoff game in several years. Well, those high hopes were lifted up into outer space early in the offseason. On March 19th it was announced that Peyton Manning would be joining the Broncos’ roster. This move was facilitated by legendary Broncos quarterback John Elway, who it is said was never really sold on Tim Tebow as his franchise quarterback. Tebow was soon shipped off to the Jets to avoid any controversy, and the Broncos fans are now dreaming about what is come this year with one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time behind center.

Now, although Manning is a good reason for Broncos fans to be excited, they do have some reason to throw a little caution into the mix. Though it is pretty much indisputable that Peyton Manning is one of the top five quarterbacks in football history, he is coming off an extremely serious neck injury that required major surgery.

There are also some questions about the skill players surrounding Manning. There is not really any outstanding talent for him to throw the ball too, but he has been known throughout his career for making all the players around him better.

One area of the team that the Broncos are not too concerned about is defense. They had one of the strongest defenses in the league last year, and many considered it to be more important to the team’s victories than Tim Tebow ever was. This defense is getting stronger with many draft picks and the return of some injured players.

There is obviously a lot to be excited about in Denver this coming fall. Denver Broncos tickets will be a very hot item, so fans that don’t want to get left out in the parking lot should get their Denver Broncos tickets as soon as possible.
