Since 1932 the Cotton Bowl has been captivating college football fans from across the country pitting teams from the SEC against the Big 12.

The Cotton Bowl is played annually in Dallas, Texas in the self-named Cotton Bowl Stadium.

Cotton Bowl Stadium was built in 1932 with a seating capacity of just less than 70,000 screaming fans.

Cotton Bowl Stadium has been the home field for many football teams over the years; most notable the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL who played in the stadium from 1960 to 1970. However the stadium's future is in question as the 2011 Cotton Bowl was the last played in Cotton Bowl Stadium. The 2011 Cotton Bowl will be played in the brand new Dallas Cowboys Stadium; which is also located in Dallas. Cotton Bowl Stadium is also home to several concerts each year and through the years has seen greats like Elvis, Aerosmith, Boston, and countless other groups perform on its field.

The 2011 Cotton Bowl will be played on January 7, 2011. The participating teams will be selected on Selection Sunday and will pit the #2 College Football team in the Big 12 Conference against a college football team from the Southeastern Conference. During the Cotton Bowl nearly 70,000 fans will jam-pack the stadium to cheer their favorite team to Cotton Bowl victory.
