The 2008 NCAA East Regionals for men's basketball will be held in Charlotte North Carolina and will be played in the Charlotte Bobcats Arena. The arena will host more than 20,000 fans over the course of the 3 day NCAA Men's East Regional Tournament.

The NCAA Men's East Regionals come each year in late March and travel between sites throughout the eastern region. The 2007 NCAA Men's East Regionals were held in the New York City area and in the past they have been held in Washington DC with Georgetown University hosting the tournament.

The team that wins the NCAA Men's East Regional Tournament goes onto play in the Final Four Tournament a few days later and if successful they go on to play in the national championship game.
