Tickets to the Outback BowlOutback Bowl tickets are on sale now. Experience the exciting College Football action in person. The Outback Bowl is played annually at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida, and pits a team from the Big 10 conference against a team from the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Originally the Outback Bowl was played on Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama, and later moved to Tampa Stadium before moving to Raymond James Stadium in 1999. The 2011 Outback Bowl will be played on January 1st 2011 with a tentatively scheduled 11:00 a.m.(EST) kickoff. The winner of the 2011 Outback Bowl will not only get bragging rights, but will also receive a $3 million payout. Each year on New Year's Day more than 65,000 fans cheer their teams to victory during the Outback Bowl. Named the Outback Bowl for its title sponsor Outback Steak House, the Outback Bowl was originally named the Hall of Fame Bowl, and many still refer to it as such today. |
