Tickets to Sugar BowlSugar Bowl tickets are on sale now. Experience the exciting College Football action in person. Played since 1935, the Sugar Bowl is currently tied as the second oldest College Bowl Game in history. The Sugar Bowl, which is played annually in Louisiana, is a member of the Bowl Championship Series and has been played in the Louisiana Superdome since 1975 (in 2006 the Sugar Bowl was played in the Georgia Dome due to the reconstruction efforts along the gulf coast in the wake of Hurricane Katrina). Almost 70,000 screaming fans pack the Superdome annually for the Sugar Bowl to watch the SEC Champion compete against a top-rated team chosen through the BCS selection process. The Sugar Bowl has been played on January 1st through much of its history and recently has been played immediately preceding the Rose Bowl. Before the Sugar Bowl moved to the Superdome, the Sugar Bowl was played on the Tulane University Campus, in Tulane Stadium from 1935 until 1974. For a number of years the Sugar Bowl was known as the Nokia Sugar Bowl; as the Electronics Company was the title sponsor. However, in 2006 Allstate Insurance took over as the title sponsor and the Bowl was renamed the Allstate Sugar Bowl in the companies honor. Tickets for the Sugar Bowl are always a prized possession for fans as the Sugar Bowl has hosted many of the best teams to ever play college football. Order 2011 Sugar Bowl tickets!
