Home to the Miami Dolphins, the Florida Marlins and the FedEx Orange Bowl; Dolphin Stadium is one of the most active stadiums in the country. More than 76,000 Fans can pack into Dolphin Stadium to watch the Dolphins take the field, or just over 36,000 can cheer on the Marlins during their home games.

Opened in 1987, Dolphin Stadium has been the host to countless entertainers as well as 4 Super Bowls, and 2 World Series. In Baseball circuits Dolphin Stadium is relatively infamous for its "Teal Tower" a 33' left field fence that challenges even the best players ability to hit a home run.

Throughout it's 20-year history Dolphin Stadium has had several names.

Opening with the name Dolphin Stadium, the venue's name was changed later that year to Joe Robbie Stadium. In 1996 the name was changed to Pro Player Stadium after the athletic division of Fruit of the Loom. Most recently in 2005 the venue was re-introduced as Dolphins Stadium, and a short while later the 's' at the end of Dolphins was removed, reverting the venue back to the original name - Dolphin Stadium.
