New York Jets Tickets and Parking Passes

The NFL season is the best time of the year and nothing compares to watching the Jets games live at MetLife – don’t wait to get your 2017 Jets tickets. With Muhammad Wilkerson and Leonard Williams, the Jets will have a stifling defense and the explosive running back duo of Matt Forte and Bilal Powell headline a young and improving offense. NY Jets tickets are always in high demand, especially with games against divisional rivals like the Patriots, Bills, and Dolphins! Other great home games include the Flacons, Panthers, and Chiefs!

Finishing the 2016 season at 5-11 and last in the AFC East there is only room for improvement for the Jets. Getting rid of Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, the Jets are opting to develop their young core which will lead to an exciting future.

About the New York Jets

After starting the franchise in 1960 as the New York Titans and playing poorly for three seasons at the Polo Grounds, the team changed their name to the New York Jets and changed locations to play in the new Shea Stadium.

After drafting legendary quarterback Joe Namath in 1965 the Jets slowly showed signs of improvement, having their first winning season in 1967. The next year, the Jets won the American Football League championship. At this time there were two leagues: the American Football League (AFL) and the National Football League (NFL), with the winners of both leagues playing in the Super Bowl. After winning Super Bowl III, one of the most famous games in Super Bowl history, the two leagues merged as the AFL was proven to be a worthy competitor for the NFL. After the two leagues merged, the Jets did not have much success at Joe Namath and the rest of the team had unfortunate injuries.

In the 2000s, the Jets had five playoff appearances, their most in a single decade, including back-to-back unsuccessful trips to the AFC championship game in 2009 and 2010.
